University of New South Wales Sydney is inviting applicants for the UNSW Scientia PhD Scholarship Program. Scientia scholars will have a strong commitment to making a difference in the world with demonstrated potential for contributing to the social engagement and/or global impact pillars of the UNSW 2025 Strategy. Scientia PhD scholars will receive an annual stipend of $40k and tuition fees covered for the full four-year study period, and will receive up to $10k annually for career development support. We are seeking domestic or international applicants interested in pursuing PhD study in salivary biomarkers associated with callous-unemotional traits, psychopathology and aggression:https://www.2025.unsw.edu.au/apply/scientia-phd-scholarships/salivary-hormones-risk-and-resiliency-factors-mental-illness within the Parent-Child Research Clinic that provides evidence-based assessment and intervention to children with conduct problems.

 

The preferred higher-degree research (HDR) candidate will have exceptional critical thinking, written/oral communication, and statistical skills. Candidates with prior experience with saliva collection, extraction, and analysis are preferred. Candidates who have experience in conducting research with children and/or clinical populations are highly encouraged to apply.
