This award recognizes an exceptional paper first-authored by a current post-doctoral scholar that represents either a novel empirical or theoretical contribution in the field of psychopathy. The award comes with a $750 prize, which was made possible through the generous donation of Joe and Alida Newman.
The criteria for the award are as follows:
1)    The awardee must be in a post-doctoral position at the time of applying for the award;
2)    The paper should have been published or accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal between May 1st, 2019 and the time of submitting for the award.
